Duda Komodo operates as a travel agent under PT. Komodo Tropical Cruise, providing reservation and booking services for Komodo Island sailing tours, liveaboard cruises, island-hopping trips, snorkeling excursions, and related travel services.
We work with various boat operators and service providers to deliver the experiences advertised on our website.
Booking & Reservation
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- The required deposit has been received.
- The guest has received a booking confirmation from our team.
Duda Komodo reserves the right to decline any reservation at its discretion.
Deposit & Payment
A deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Deposit payments can be made via:
- Wise
- Revolut
- Xoom by PayPal
The remaining balance must be paid before departure on the tour date.
Accepted final payment methods:
- Cash (IDR, USD, EUR)
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
Card payments are subject to an additional 3% processing fee.
Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice.
Prices may vary due to:

Once a booking has been confirmed and the deposit received, the agreed tour price will remain valid unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees may vary depending on the boat operator and tour provider.
Unless stated otherwise by a specific operator:
- Deposits are generally non-refundable.
- No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services.
- Special promotional rates may be non-refundable.
Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations and unforeseen circumstances.
Changes by Guests
Requests to modify travel dates, passenger names, cabin categories, or tour arrangements are subject to availability and approval by the operator.
Additional charges may apply for changes made after confirmation.
Changes by Operator
Tour itineraries, schedules, destinations, and activities may be adjusted due to:
- Weather conditions
- Sea conditions
- Port authority regulations
- Safety considerations
- Technical or operational requirements
The captain and operator have the final authority regarding route adjustments and safety decisions.
No refunds will be issued for itinerary changes made for safety reasons.
Weather & Force Majeure
Duda Komodo and its partners shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Port closures
- Mechanical issues
- Public health emergencies
- Civil disturbances
In such situations, alternative arrangements may be offered where possible, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Health & Fitness Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate in tour activities, including:
- Hiking
- Snorkeling
- Swimming
- Boat transfers
- Island trekking
Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or special needs should be communicated before departure.
Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical expenses
- Personal accidents
- Lost luggage
- Emergency evacuation
Duda Komodo is not responsible for costs arising from personal injury, illness, accidents, or travel disruptions.
Liability

Duda Komodo shall not be held liable for:

- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
- Delays caused by transportation providers

Guests accept the inherent risks associated with marine and outdoor adventure activities.
Guest Conduct
All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward:

- Wildlife and natural environments
The operator reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior endangers others or disrupts the trip, without refund.
